I have always been a fan of subway maps. Especially Massimo Vignelli's 1972 NYC diagram. Google engineer Alexander Chen created this video called Conductor & turned Massimo's map into an interactive string instrument when the subway lines meet at each station. He uses the actual NYC metro schedule over a 24 hour period. It's simply brilliant & beautiful!
