Blessing Dress

I saw this dress online at the gap today and it totally reminded me of this dress I made for Ida's blessing last September of course only made better. I love ruffled layers. Especially on little girls. When Ida starts to walk I can't wait to put her in tons of dresses (before she's decides she's a tom boy!) I think this little white number would look amazing on her.

I bought the eyelet already made ruffled ribbon from Hancock Fabrics with a 50% off coupon- not exactly knowing what I was going to do, but definitely had had an idea in my head of what I wanted for a while. It was actually a lot more work than I thought it would be, but I love how it turned out.
